Terms of Service
These Terms of Service outline the policies and expectations for clients of Bor Town Massage. By booking or receiving services with us, you agree to the following:
1. Appointments
All appointments must be booked in advance, either online, by phone, or in person.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for intake forms and preparation.
2. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to ensure the next client’s appointment begins on time.
The full session fee will still apply, regardless of reduced treatment time.
3. Cancellations & No-Shows
24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the session fee.
Missed appointments without notice (no-shows) will be charged 100% of the session fee.
4. Payment Methods
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
We accept direct-billing, cash, debit, e-transfer and major credit cards.
Prepaid packages and gift certificates are non-refundable but may be transferred with written notice.
5. Insurance
- Our therapists are 2200-hour accredited and we can provide you with a receipt for reimbursement. All insurance company providers have different terms and conditions when it comes to insurance billing. Certain companies require clients to pay upfront for their appointments and some don’t allow direct billing.
If you have insurance, bring your insurance card with you to your appointment. This is the most accurate way to find your plan coverage and get you set up for online submission. Companies will cover a certain dollar or percent amount and a doctor’s note or prescription is sometimes required on file. If you’re unsure what coverage your provider gives for massage therapy, contact your provider directly. For client privacy, we cannot call the provider on your behalf.
- If we are unable to submit your claim to your insurance provider, we will require another form of payment. From there you may submit the receipt to your insurance provider manually.
6. Professional Standards
All services are therapeutic and professional in nature.
Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session, full payment of the scheduled service, and possible refusal of future bookings.
7. Health & Safety
Clients are responsible for informing their therapist of any health conditions, injuries, allergies, or recent medical treatments.
Bor Town Massage & Wellness reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
8. Liability
Bor Town Massage & Wellness and its staff are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions or injuries that may be aggravated during or after treatment.
Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care, and clients should consult a physician for any medical concerns.
9. Policy Changes
Bor Town Massage & Wellness reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated policies will be posted in the clinic and/or on our website.
